Three Questions for Memorial Day: (1) Can we remember without attributing reasons for war that aren’t in fact the real reasons? (2) Can we remember the innocent victims of war even as we remember those who died while fighting? (3) Can we remember without the “us versus them” factor? — Perhaps if all who died were commemorated…

The way we celebrate Memorial Day really bothers me.

Three Questions for Memorial Day

[…]

As Memorial Day is celebrated, is memory really what is encouraged or is it just an exercise in imagining? In other words, can we tell the truth on Memorial Day? While some truth is given voice on this solemn occasion, there are other important truths that are distorted in the telling or pushed from memory altogether. This is the case, not just in community Memorial Day services, but in churches that allow a Memorial Day focus to be introduced into worship. While I find the inclusion of this nationalist holiday in worship a wholly inappropriate, theologically unjustifiable practice, I find it doubly disturbing that from what I have seen churches do little to introduce much needed truth to the occasion.

[…]

Right remembering of the dead is a moral undertaking. It shows respect for the departed and displays sympathy for family members and friends left behind. But untruthful memorials serve other purposes, sometimes masking truth and glorifying that which should not be glorified. I think there are some questions we should ask as Memorial Day approaches.

(1) Can we remember without attributing reasons for war that aren’t in fact the real reasons? To celebrate Memorial Day by claiming soldiers died that we might be free is misleading. The real causes behind most wars have had little to do with protecting freedom of speech or assembly or worship. Major General Smedley Butler, USMC , declared, “Beautiful ideals were painted for our boys who were sent out to die.… No one mentioned to them, as they marched away, that their going and their dying would mean huge war profits.”  Can we remember in a way that doesn’t falsify the causes of war, justify national self-righteousness, or turn Memorial Day into a recruiting tool to entice the young to enter the armed forces?

(2) Can we remember the innocent victims of war, even as we remember those who died while fighting? The majority of people who die in wars are not combatants. It is certainly not the case that sufficient care is taken by the military to avoid civilian deaths or that investigations of the deaths of the innocent are always undertaken. For those who believe otherwise, I highly recommend the viewing of the critically acclaimed, Academy Award nominated documentary Dirty Wars. Far too many people have suffered at the hands of the American military who have engaged in no armed hostilities. Yet they are maimed and killed, often on ill-founded suspicions. Remembering these men, women, and children can help us remember rightly on Memorial Day.

Also by Craig: The Nationalistic Corruption of Worship in America

(3) Can we remember without the “us versus them” factor that is inevitable when we honor “our” war dead?  Memorial Day was formerly known as Decoration Day and it served as an occasion to commemorate the Union and Confederate soldiers who died in the Civil War. By including the war dead on both sides of the conflict, the day was used to affirm unity rather than reinforce division. The sacrifice of the soldiers was acknowledged but one side was not glorified over the other. Can we remember those who died in war without reinforcing nationalism? Perhaps if all who died on battlefields were commemorated on Memorial Day –and not just Americans- the occasion might foster something greater than national unity: a global unity rooted in an acknowledgment of the tragedy of war.

Those Americans who suffered and died in war ought to be remembered. The grave difficulties endured by of those who faced armed conflict and lost their lives should be recognized. The soldiers’ best intentions in allowing themselves to be put in harm’s way –regardless of the actual reasons for war- deserve to be honored. But in the process, war itself should not be honored, the reasons for war whitewashed, nor should the suffering and the deaths of others be ignored. Rather “putting away falsehood, let all of us speak the truth to our neighbor” (Ephesians 4:25).

A bit of my testimony & 4 Ways to Quiet Your Spirit Before God, by Steve Hill — “Instead of getting depressed and complaining, they began to praise God!”

As a senior in high school (St. Croix Lutheran in W. St. Paul, MN) in the ’70s, I realized I couldn’t love people fully enough, and that I needed God’s help to do it. I didn’t know if Christianity was the right religion, because Lutheranism hadn’t done it for me, or from what I could see in those around me. So I decided to research every religion until I found the right one. I started by reading the Bible for myself, starting with the Book of Acts.

When I read this story about Paul and Silas being thrown into prison — being beaten, yet they still worshiped with their whole being, God filling them so fully — I realized they had it.

And I’ve never needed to look anywhere else, but have been frustrated by how sub-biblical Christianity mostly is today.

Anyway, these are highlights of this article, 4 Ways to Quiet Your Spirit Before God, by Steve Hill:

Remember when Paul and Silas were in prison? They were not only chained; they had also been severely beaten. Most likely their prison cell was infested with rats, and diseases were rampant.

I can imagine Paul looking at the burns on his hands from the chains and the cuts all over his body. He and Silas were hurting, and their lives were in jeopardy. But what did they do? Instead of getting depressed and complaining, they began to praise God.

I can just hear them lifting their voices to God in praise in the midst of their desperation, saying, “We worship You, Lord. We worship You, Jesus. Thank You for Your presence. Thank You for Your strength. We love You, Lord.”

It caught the attention of heaven, and God sent an earthquake to deliver them!

[…]

I must use the story of Jesus in the garden during His passion as the example of aligning ourselves to God’s will. …

But something else happened to Jesus in the garden after He prayed. Notice the next verse: “An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him” (v. 43). My friend, this is so powerful. Always remember that after Jesus resigned Himself to God’s will, the angels strengthened Him.

And so it is with you. It’s after you resign yourself to God’s will that the angels will come and strengthen you!

[…]

Here is where so many miss it. They allow their present situation to dictate everything that’s going on around them. Instead, you must learn to relax and say, “This is a season, and it is going to pass. It’s going to bring the peaceable fruit of righteousness. Some good is going to come out of this.”

Isaiah 30:15 tells us why it’s so important to learn how to quiet our spirits: “In quietness and trust is your strength” (NIV). It doesn’t get much clearer than that.

Quieting your spirit will help you navigate through the storms of life no matter what you are going through and no matter what’s happening in the world around you. It’s an art and a spiritual discipline that will change your life and help set the course for your future as it has mine. Why not begin today?

Color Not Compromised for ISO – The Phase One IQ250 Camera

I’ve spent thousands of hours researching various aspects of photography, but still, every once in awhile, I’ll see something that blows away what I’ve thought for many years. This is one of those very exciting, eureka-moment articles that has blown away my previous paradigm, so I thought I’d share.

Color used to be determined by the film companies, mainly Kodak, and then Fuji. But then came digital, so now the camera companies are in complete control of what color their cameras can capture. I’ve thought that Nikon and Canon would never compromise color for anything, until I read this article a few months ago.

Apparently, they’re compromising color in order to get higher ISO, low light sensitivity, which isn’t good news for me, since I go to great lengths to get the best color I can, but can’t afford to switch from full-frame Canon to medium format, at this time, where color has not been compromised for ISO.

Here is the scoop. Apparently, most photographers are completely unaware of this. So far, every pro I’ve mentioned this to didn’t know. Very interesting how marketing works. Sometimes high ISO is more important than color, for shooting the northern lights and night photography, for example, but for most of what I photograph, I’d rather have the best color possible.

It would be nice if Canon and Nikon offered two versions of their higher end cameras: one tweaked for ISO (current models) and the other for color.

Note: apparently, this is the first time a medium format camera is using the CMOS sensor, which is the current standard in 35mm cameras, such as Nikon and Canon.

The Phase One IQ250 CMOS Fully Realized
by Doug Peterson

Prerequisite Reading

If you haven’t heard about the IQ250 yet, I’d suggest before you read this article you read this site’s preliminary review and Digital Transitions’ 11 Things to Know About the Phase One IQ250

[…]

…Color. Color. Color.

…when Sony approached Phase One with an offer to build what would eventually become the IQ250 sensor there was one looming questions, could Phase One tame CMOS color?

Historically, CMOS has not had the best reputation for color rendition. But teasing apart cause and effect has been, up until now, very difficult. CMOS and CCD were being used by very different companies in very different systems. Most CMOS cameras are built for the broadest possible range of applications. They are built by consumer electronics companies with a volume sales business model, where features and price are higher priorities than image quality.

As one example, the selection of a CFA, the color pattern put in front of the sensor, is a choice between quality of color, and ISO performance. If the CFA allows each pixel to see a broader spectrum of color (e.g. for the green pixels to see a bit further into yellow) a camera’s ISO range can be modestly increased. The resulting loss in color quality is subtle – subtle variations in color are missed and a handful of specific colors become difficult to photograph. In a market where a ISO 25,600 camera has a leg up on a ISO12,800 camera, the engineers are under enormous pressure to pick the modestly increased ISO over subtle color quality. Copenhagen, We Are Go / No Go For Color

This sort of mentality is blissfully lacking in the R+D at Phase One. …color and image quality were far more important than a marginal improvement in ISO. …

Niels [Niels V. Knudsen] has the informal title “Image Professor,” and is best known inside Phase One as the dark wizard of color. He is responsible for the fine tuned profiles made for all the cameras that Capture One supports.

This has meant that for over a decade he has produced color profiles for every major CMOS camera. He has come to know CMOS color from dSLRS like a friend or perhaps like a frenemy. As he describes it, “I am always fighting with profiling CMOS dSLRs to control accuracy while allowing for subtlety and robustness. Every time I fix one color another color jumps out and bites. These cameras’ color response is brittle.”

The Most Disappointing Message on RECONCILIATION (Abbott Loop) — At first I was excited, but then MY HEART SANK, realizing once-saved-always-saved destroyed the fruit, which should have been massive. Josh Tanner taught that people who hurt people and refuse to get right will have ‘RECONCILIATION PARTIES’ in heaven? • False doctrine is keeping ‘ONE’ from happening so God can show up and “the world will know” (John 17)!

At first, I was pretty enthusiastic about Josh Tanner’s message on reconciliation, but his point that we can reconcile once we get to heaven bothered me, and bothers me more and more as most still aren’t reconciling.

How many more will die not having seen ‘ONE’ happen, because of the once-saved-always-saved false teaching. It sounds so nice, but it’s diabolical — producing dead churches and destroyed lives — when our joy should be full, living in the Son!

once-saved-always-saved + reconciliation teaching = no reconciliation

Most won’t reconcile unless they have to, despite what the Holy Spirit is telling them to do in their consciences — the guilt they feel, which we’re taught can’t be ‘condemnation’ because we’re in Christ because we’re born-again. But the Bible says:

Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures — Narrow is the Way | Who are the Children of God? — “There is therefore now *no condemnation* to those who are IN CHRIST Jesus, who don’t WALK according to the flesh, but ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT.”

It’s the 11/24/13 message here.

How long will we sing this song? We can see the light now. Com’ on, Dick.

Effects of the WELSH REVIVAL 1904-05: Whole communities were radically changed FROM DEPRAVITY TO GLORIOUS GOODNESS. The CRIME RATE dropped, often to nothing. My Art showing in Anchorage

I just wrote this at ToBeFree and ONEcanhappen:

I’ve had to minimize time spent on my blogs lately, as I’ve been swamped and dumbfounded by massive, multiple (actual fact), mysterious technical difficulties, one of which still isn’t fully solved after 7 weeks. But I’m pressing through, and made a new print yesterday. Hopefully, soon it will be full speed ahead, being able to present my new work until January 31 in this beautiful coffee shop just blocks from where I live.

I’ve spent more time on the phone during these seven weeks, troubleshooting, than maybe in the last seven years — seriously.

In praise of 5,000K LED natural daylight light bulbs!

I bought one of these “natural daylight” 5,000K LED bulbs at Lowe’s:

Utilitech 7.5-Watt (40W Equivalent) A19 Medium Base Daylight (5000K) LED Bulb

They say they’re 40-watt equivalent, but my estimate is they’re more like 60 watts, using only 7.5 watts, and lasting for an estimated 25,000 hours!

With my colorimeter (for my monitor), it tested about the same output as the less expensive, but short life, CFL version that is supposed to be 60W equivalent. And they both did test at about 5,000K. Daylight is about 5,500K.

This puts out beautifully, refreshing (Alaska doesn’t get much sun right now) light that really is anti-fatiguing.

I highly recommend these! 5,000K is much preferable to the 3,200K and less, more yellowish bulbs that are most common. This has enough blue light to definitely feel the difference during our short daylight, winter days.

Gordon Lightfoot is absolutely one of my favorite singer/songwriters, whom my friend Steve and I would most often listen to on the way to and from our outdoor adventures, including Lake Superior — Gordon’s song: “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.”

I wish Steve was still alive, and I hope Gordon can see the revival happen before he dies.

I also learned to play and sing many of his wonderful songs. Never liked “Sundown,” though.

Here, Gordon talks about how he almost died in 2002:

I just posted this on my Facebook page:

EXCITING message at Abbott Loop this morning by Josh Tanner: “Ambassadors of Reconciliation!”

‘ONE’ can still happen this year, “that the world will know” — Jesus’ heart-cry-prayer for us in John 17! The great revival, The Third Great Awakening that will transform Anchorage and greatly affect our nation!

Some things Josh said:

“We need to learn how to become excellent at reconciliation.”

“Am I wrecking or reconciling? You’re going one way or the other.”

He had them all say “I was wrong” out loud at minute-29.

Wow!

Selah.

The message wasn’t all great, though. At minute-16, Josh said we can hate people and still go to heaven, and then get right with people there. What?!

Huh? People who hate people don’t go to heaven (Gal. 5:19-6:9), which I’ve also proven in my article, linked below. Josh is still teaching the once-saved-always-saved heresy that is deceiving many into thinking we don’t need to walk clean now so we’ll have clean hearts to be able to enter then.

Josh did enthusiastically say we shouldn’t wait, though.

Overall, it was very good, and this is now only the second message I’ve heard in my entire life devoted only to reconciliation. The first was also by Josh in October, but I like this one much better. Very exciting, actually!

Praise God!

I’ll include some key links about this below. I’ve been pushing for this hard since 1990 — at one time too hard. But I’ve hung in there, because I know this is God’s desire for us, and we can do it!

Though the U.S. is dark, the future can be bright for us no matter what happens!!! : )

Thank you, Josh for leading this reconciliation charge!

The Welsh Revival of 1904-05 by J. Edwin Orr: A Countrywide Asbury-like REVIVAL! The 4 Points: #1 Confess any known sin, and put any wrong done to man right again. #2 Put away any doubtful habit. #3 Obey the Spirit promptly. #4 Confess your faith publicly.

The Azusa Street Revival (1906-15): The biggest move of miracles in the history of America — The fire of God’s glory on the roof! “Even the fingernails grew back!” In 1909, Seymour prophesied the next revival will come in about 100 years! We’re due!!!

More key links:

Effects of the WELSH REVIVAL 1904-05: Whole communities were radically changed FROM DEPRAVITY TO GLORIOUS GOODNESS. The CRIME RATE dropped, often to nothing. THE POLICE had little more to do than supervise the coming and going of the people to the chapel prayer meetings. THE UNDERGROUND MINES echoed with the sounds of PRAYER and HYMNS, instead of nasty jokes and gossip. People who had fallen out BECAME FRIENDS AGAIN!!!!!!!

Kevin Conner on the Believer’s CONDITIONAL Security: “OBEDIENCE IS the very law of SECURITY for all created beings. There can be NO SUCH THING as UNCONDITIONAL security.”

(video) Asbury Revival, 1970: RECONCILIATION the KEY! — “‘Dr. Kinlaw, I am a liar. Now what do I do?’ … Three days later, she came to me radiant, and she said, ‘I just hit my 34th person and I’m free!’”

Rick Joyner: “REPENTANCE includes RESTITUTION for the wrongs that have caused injury to others”

Can ‘Christians’ use Paul’s “Forgetting the things which are behind…I press on” statement as an excuse to not get right with those they’ve hurt? Paul also said: “I also practice ALWAYS having a conscience void of offense toward God and men.” What if you don’t repent? And what will happen when you do? The Third Great Awakening can start with us!!! We can all be happy — ‘ONE’!

The Achan Factor — Because of one man’s disobedience the entire nation of Israel had to deal with the “Achan factor” among them before they could come under the umbrella of Almighty God’s blessings once again!

The Didache (70-100 AD): Reconciliation was required to attend early church meetings! “How upside-down the ‘church’ is today.”

The R-Word: ‘Reconciliation’ is Required to Worship in Spirit and in Truth — Why is this key to revival a taboo subject?

“No snowflake in an avalanche ever feels responsible”

My comment on Francis Frangipane’s post: “Francis, do you remember how you prophesied in Wasilla, Alaska about the REVIVAL happening up here to such a great degree that…” | Paul made sure he was right with everyone, but how many pastors can say that today? | “There is might and there is power and there is GLORY, but it is being withheld until these relationships are made right…

Benny Hester: “When God Ran” — God will RUN when we come back to Him!

‘Let Us Be ONE’ Prophecy Continues 10/8/08: “It’s TOO LATE to REVERSE what’s been done for MY MEN have been REJECTED … Now is the Time to OVERCOME and GET RIGHT With ALL … FREEeeeeeeeeeeeee———DOM at last … Your HEART will SWELL with LOVE and it will be EASY to REMAIN In Me when others are On The BOAT With You”

If we build it He will come: “Let Us Be ONE” (A Revival Prophecy)

(music video) Carrie Rodriguez: “Lake Harriet”

I grew up a few miles from Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, and had many good times there.

I  heard Carrie on Public Radio perform this song, and thought I’d share. Mom and I laughed. The only thing I ever “held” was a leash, a fishing pole, or handlebars — did a lot of biking there.

Anchorage Daily News charging $79.95 for unlimited online reading — Only 15 free reads In 30 days

I’ve been an Anchorage resident since 1980, when we had two newspapers : The locally owned Anchorage Times and the Anchorage Daily News (owned by McClatchy since 1979).

With their deep pockets, McClatchy put the Times out of business, which left Anchorage with just one, corporately owned newspaper, putting out the standard, big government propaganda — acting like Alan Keyes and Ron Paul weren’t even in the Presidential debates, over the years.

And now they want to charge $79.95 a year to read their articles online! I just now found out, because apparently I never read enough articles a month to reach the limit:

Anchorage Daily News To Become The Latest McClatchy Newspaper To Institute A Metered Pay Wall; Only 15 Free Reads In 30 Days Effective December 18th

Here is ADN’s original announcement:

Publisher: Daily News introduces digital news subscription

And here is more of the rest of the story from the Anchorage Press:

Letter: Paywall screams desperation

Very soon, visitors to the Anchorage Daily News’ website will be expected to pay for subscription access to read online content. ADN publisher Pat Doyle stated, “We can no longer expect only advertisers and print subscribers to shoulder the complete burden of supporting news-gathering and distribution… Having all our readers share that cost is an essential and important step toward preserving the foundations of a free and independent press for future generations of Alaskans.”

Curiously enough, Doyle makes no mention to Alaskans that the online paywall is part of a nationwide initiative by McClatchy, their parent company, to introduce paywalls to all their newspapers. Not only is failing to disclose this exceedingly misleading, but Doyle’s claims are virtually meritless. McClatchy posted roughly $54.4 million in net income and a sheer $1.3 billion in revenue for 2011. Of that revenue, $956.3 million was attributed to advertising and $262.3 million to circulation. However, in a press release on their third quarter earnings, McClatchy president Pat Talamantes said the paywalls “could add more than $20 million” in new revenue for 2013. $20 million compared to the $262.3 million they make in circulation screams either unenthusiasm or bad idea or both. It also trivializes the supposed necessity of the paywalls, considering the number of readers they’re likely to upset with them, if not lose entirely.

The Great Alaska Mosquito Invasion of June 2013! — “It was a perfect overwintering blanket for insects”

Anchorage Mosquitoes were HORRENDOUS for about 3 weeks this summer, after about a 3 week late start. Here is a theory why they were so bad, as well as a funny and so true commentary from the Anchorage Daily News:

Mosquito invasion in Southcentral Alaska leads to run on supplies

Published: June 17, 2013

“Mosquito populations are fairly high everywhere,” said Janice Chumley, integrated pest management technician at the Kenai Peninsula District office of Cooperative Extension Service.

Why? Because of weather we had nine months ago. Southcentral Alaska experienced an extremely wet fall followed directly by snow. The snow covered and insulated the ground before it could freeze very deep.

“It was a perfect overwintering blanket for insects,” Chumley said.

How perfect wasn’t immediately apparent because breakup came late this year; much of the state got smacked by a snowstorm a month ago. The extended cool weather delayed the hatchout, Chumley said. “But the minute it warmed up, all of those successfully overwintering sites produced clouds of mosquitoes.” …

What is not anecdotal is the fact that the Anchorage store shelves on which mosquito control products are usually stocked have become bare in the past few days. …

Elise Patkotak: Tropical heat in Anchorage? This isn’t right

Published: June 18, 2013

OK, let’s get one thing straight. If I’d wanted to have bright, hot sunshine for weeks in a row I’d have moved to Fairbanks or Hawaii or Mexico or, if I was really desperate, Florida. If I wanted to devote an hour every morning killing mosquitoes in my office before I could work, I’d have moved to a tropical forest. If I wanted to spend my time outdoors batting wildly at my head while screaming, “Get away from me, you beasts from hell” I’d have done a remake of “Bedlam.”

And I know I’m not alone. There are a lot of us out there in the Anchorage bowl, hiding in our own special closets with netting covering our entire bodies and fans blowing cold air from ice cubes to help us maintain our sanity.

My dogs scurry through the door to go into the yard at top speed because they fear that their tails will be slammed into the door I’m shutting as quickly as possible to keep the next horde of blood suckers out. They eye me fearfully as I stalk through the rooms of my house, bloody magazine in hand, inspecting walls and ceilings for another evil biter to squash beneath my avenging hand. …

Bloodletting worsens during Alaska’s legendary mosquito infestation

June 30, 2013

The insect uprising — courtesy of a swampy spring and late-season snow — has prompted many Alaskans to wonder when relief will come. …

It’s hard to know, because we have over 40 species in Alaska that rely on different habitats. The large mosquitoes are called the snow mosquitoes, and there are six species of those. They’re much slower, and some people call them “training mosquitoes” to get us ready for the next wave. Those are mostly gone. The ones we are seeing now are mostly in the genus ochlerotatus. They’re smaller and faster.

Rodney Lough Jr. asks: “Do you prefer color?” — My take and his… : )

Rodney Lough Jr. asked on Facebook, discussing this image:

More Yosemite for Wednesday; here’s Reflections Along the Merced! What do you think, do you like black and white images? Do you want me to see more of them, or do you prefer color?

I commented:

It seems to me that color almost always touches the heart more, perhaps because it more accurately shows off God’s creation, the way He made it. It shows His glory!

Rodney responded:

Thanks for your answers, everyone! Those of you who like color; don’t worry, I won’t stop releasing photos in nature’s glorious colors, including the image I’m going to be releasing in a little more than a week, Cathedral Forest. Those of you who like black and white, though… Well, I guess I’ll just say stay tuned

______________

Here is more on my perspective. I just shared this with a Facebook friend who prefers black and white:

… I’ve studied Ansel. I like some of his work, and have seen some of his originals in Monterey. He can emphasize a particular feature with extreme contrast, etc., making a piece of rock look really gnarly, and the sky super dark, for example. And I do like his later darkroom technique over his earlier, where he was more conservative. But I still don’t get the ‘awe’ factor that I get with many color photos.

In this photo, one of my favorites of his, Ansel used a red filter to greatly darken the sky, etc., and heavy dodging and burning. It does emphasize how mighty this piece of rock is. And it may be more stunning than the color photo would be, taken during that same moment, especially if it was midday. But to me, a color photo taken during the right light could still be even much more impressive.

In general, in order to make a black and white look impressive, the photographer has to tone down certain colors and/or crank certain tones up, because a green tree will only look dissimilar in shape to the cliff behind it if they’re both the same brightness. So the photographer might greatly brighten the tree while darkening the cliff, so they can be more distinguishable.

The end result of doing that throughout a photograph for the different elements may be interesting, and draw me in to look at the photo more (which is good), but these photos rarely make me rejoice.

Another possible factor, which I don’t understand why it’s taking so long to solve, is that most computer monitors aren’t color accurate without being specially calibrated, which mostly only photographers do. So the photos don’t look the way they’re supposed to. If you ever get to see a Rodney Lough Jr. gallery in person, please do.

Accurate color isn’t a high priority for most consumers, so computer manufacturers can probably make a screen brighter without subduing certain colors in order to present color naturally.

Many people lose their color accuracy as they get older too. I think it’s probably a nutritional deficiency, mainly, and older photographers may have a hard time getting the colors right, so end up doing black and white instead.

Excellent!

And Alex talks about how he became successful through passion, hard work, and not being afraid of what people think!

I’m encouraged by this last point. I think I was actually called a “jerk” today by a ‘Christian’ on a friend’s Facebook page — but she only knows a small fraction of the story. The entirety would not be right for me to publicly tell.

[video] RECONCILIATION!!! Alex Jones: Conscience — Mark Dice buries the hatchet after Alex applauds Mark’s brilliant work!

I’m very excited about this, having actively tried to do what I could to mend this relationship.

Very important for Alex, Mark and who knows how many…!

Beautiful!!!

jeff : )

_ _

After watching the following segment of yesterday’s Alex Jones Show transmission, Mark Dice then posted this on his Facebook page:

Mark Dice

I have buried the hatchet with Alex Jones from Infowars. That does not mean Infowars is a sacred cow or that I won’t critically analyze any stories they put out when I feel it’s needed (I am a media analyst after all), but consider the hatchet buried for the sake of coming together to fight the New World Order and save as many people as possible from falling into the Illuminati abyss.

Despite my very harsh criticism of Alex in the past, he has taken the high road and today acknowledged that I do good work and gave me a shout out on his radio show for my “Repeal the 2nd Amendment” video. Looking back, I’m sure my criticism actually helped Infowars up their game and be a bit more careful about some of the stories they put out and double check their info and analysis.

For those who don’t know, we had a little falling out a few years ago due to a misunderstanding that I then took a little too far cuz I’m a bit crazy sometimes (so is Alex for that matter) but anyway, now onto more important things and setting aside personal differences for sake of unifying The Resistance to fight the Illuminati and their planned destruction of our freedoms, economy, health, and peace of mind.

Then, two days later, Mark posted this on his Facebook page:

Big thanks to Alex Jones, Drudge Report, and everyone else who helped spread the “Repeal the Second Amendment” Petition video around to help jolt people into waking up and thinking about the Bill of Rights. JUST WAIT until you see tomorrow’s “Man on the Street Monday” video! It might be even more crazy than this one!

Subscribe to my YouTube channel and be sure to select “Show in News Feed” on my Facebook page. I don’t post all videos here on FB, and because this is a fan page, not every status update shows up on everyone’s page unless I pay PER STATUS update, FYI. Here’s last week’s “Repeal the 2nd Amendment” video if you missed it.

Check my previous status update from Friday to read the details about me burying the hatchet with Alex for the sake of coming together to fight our common enemy: The Illuminati.

My First Ever ‘Manimal’ Dream

As far as I know, I’ve never had a dream about anything like this before.

I was standing near a small group of people (maybe four) who had shotguns, and I thought they were hunting rabbits; though, it was on a rocky shoreline where rabbits usually wouldn’t be seen.

They were all standing on top of a 30-foot-long, 15-foot-high rock outcropping, but one lady walked back onto land, and stood on my right. I looked where they were looking and spotted two ‘rabbits.’ The woman next to me raised her shotgun, and a guy on the rock aimed down at them too.

The ‘animals’ didn’t move quickly like rabbits, and stayed upright as they lowered themselves into the water. Then I realized the one had what looked almost like a human head, round and much bigger than a rabbit’s head would be, and not much hair. That’s when I semi-yelled: “humans!” But if they were fully human I would have screamed. No one shot, and they didn’t say a word.

Then I saw the manimal family in a hollowed out rock with a large opening on the side. It looked like about six of them. Two in the center were much bigger and had humanlike round heads. But they clearly weren’t even close to fully human.

When I awoke, I pondered what I had just seen, and thought of Jesse Ventura’s ‘Manimal’ episode of ‘Conspiracy Theory’ that aired recently, which I’m including below. The show goes into the evidence that part man/part animal creatures are being bred, and this has probably been going on for quite some time.

Apparently, it’s important enough for us to be aware of, which was why I was given this dream. They’re not just breeding salmon with eel to get the ‘frankenfish’ the FDA has already partially approved.

Prayer Breakthrough

I just had a personal prayer breakthrough, praying towards the root of improper concepts that are putting people to sleep to a degree that I probably never have before.

There are people who pray against (James-3 curse) people to not investigate various concepts and/or even events to see what is really going on — to keep people in the dark: the situation we’re really in with God for not caring about what we’ve done and supported overseas in these wars is just one example. I was watching a documentary on Abu Ghraib when I got the idea to pray more thoroughly about this than ever before. And that led to prayers about other “Schultz – ‘I know nothing; I see nothing; I hear nothing'” blockages.

I can post truth every day, but if people feel compelled to look the other way because others have ‘prayed’ that they would close their hearts….

There are bullies and scoffers who want people to be in the dark, for whatever reason about many things. We don’t have to know who the truth stoppers are, but we can pray for whomever they are to set many free!

How to Navigate My Cargo Photos

This ends my Cargo’s Last Stand photos for now — especially those shot from the inside of the operation. Though, I’m sure there will be some others to add later.

About 500 photos are in the Cargo’s Last Stand category. You’re welcome to download any for non-commercial use. Right-click on the image and click on “Save Image As” (or similar).

If you’d like to only see NWA/Delta photos, they’re all in my Cargo’s Last Stand category.

Before Delta bought us out, the NWA PHOTOS START ON PAGE 12.

To fine tune your starting point, a good way is to scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Older posts.” Then you can replace the number ‘2’ with any number you’d like in the address bar in the top of your browser. Currently, the first Cargo’s Last Stand entries are 32 pages back (this number could increase if I add more photos someday).

So the beginning point is herehttp://jefffenske.com/category/cargos-last-stand/page/32/. And then go forward in time (Not available in this new configuration) by clicking on “Previous Page” at the bottom of each page.

There is a Search Engine:
In most cases, I’ve named people in the photos by their first name. So you might be able to find people that way.

To be notified by email every time I add a post on this blog, there is a box in the right column that says: “Follow Blog via Email.” I’ll be giving some personal updates, as well as posting some of my favorite posts from my other two blogs, linked on the top of the right column. I’m also on Facebook: facebook.com/ONEcanhappen

If you leave my Cargo’s Last Stand category, I am into reality, and hopefully you are too : )  There is a saying that religion and politics should never be discussed, but that’s what the dark side wants. And that’s how they’ve been able to take over America, which is on its last leg, sadly. How can America survive if we don’t figure out what is really going on, narrowing our conversation to things that don’t really matter: sports, Hollywood, etc.? In the meantime, the corruption in the government and in the corporations is fully evident, and some have even lost their jobs.

“Evil prevails when good people do nothing.

– Samuel Adams

“History fails to record a single precedent in which nations subject to moral decay have not passed into political and economic decline. There has been either a spiritual awakening to overcome the moral lapse,or a progressive deterioration leading to ultimate national disaster.”

– Douglas MacArthur

If you’d like to comment on any of these posts, you can even do so anonymously if you’d like. I don’t require anyone leaving any personal data.

I hope you all do well.

God bless!

Forklift: Jeff

Of all of the many types of equipment we operated over the years, inside and outside, the small propane powered forks were my favorite vehicles to drive.

The massive Taylor had amazing torque and power, but these little babies were quick and agile — feeling more like being one with the machine!

In these photos that I’m in, I had 10 seconds to click the shutter and run into the photo. Running to and jumping on the Taylor was a hoot.

I’m too somber when I shoot myself. Sorry.
