Someone’s on the prowl, trying to take us down But we ain’t giving up now A liar and a thief, coming after you and me But we ain’t giving up now
The harder the wind will blow, the deeper our roots will go,
And the devil’s gonna hang, oh the devil is gonna hang, The devil is gonna hang from his own gallows
Though the waters try to drown, and the flames they surround oh We ain’t giving up now Even though we may tread through the valley of death oh We ain’t giving up now
If you’re stumbling in the dark, run your hands against the walls Find every window, every door, throw them open, throw them open In will flood a blinding light, and it will chase away the night Even if you shield your eyes, let it pour in, let it pour in
Glorious, anointed, resting-in-God song from 1975 that I was blessed to experience as a young Christian! Christian music was awesome then, and will again be someday, when ‘ONE’ happens “that the world will know” (Jesus’ prayer in John 17)!
I was able to see Chuck a few years later, while attending the University of Minnesota — just him and a piano in the student union.
“Unmistakable background from Annie, Nell and Matthew.”

Trans-Siberian Orchestra – O Come All Ye Faithful – O Holy Night live 2010
My Jesus, my Savior, Lord, there is none like You; All of my days I want to praise The wonders of Your mighty love.
My comfort, my shelter, Tower of refuge and strength; Let every breath, all that I am Never cease to worship You.
Shout to the Lord, all the earth, Let us sing Power and majesty, praise to the King; Mountains bow down and the seas will roar At the sound of Your name.
I sing for joy at the work of Your hands, Forever I’ll love You, forever I’ll stand, Nothing compares to the promise I have in You.
Lincoln Brewster touring with Steve Perry, lead singer of Journey in 1994
Setlist:
Only the Young Girl Can’t Help It Oh Sherrie Lights Foolish Heart You Better Wait Somewhere theres hope Missing You Listen to your heart I’ll be Alright Without You Lincoln Solo Wheel in the Sky Dixie Highway Lovin Touchin Squeezin Anyway You Want It Separate Ways Dont Stop Believin Faithfully
This seems to be from this concert, the last song, which was live At Bayside Church, Roseville, CA. I was disappointed by the lack of reverence in this concert, the K-LOVE ladies and Brewster’s jokes. It wasn’t very anointed, but this is the only live performance I can find of Brewster doing this song.
Oh Lord my God in You I put my trust Oh Lord my God in You I put my hope Oh Lord my God in You I put my trust Oh Lord my God in You I put my hope
In You In You I find my peace In You In You I find my strength In You I live and move and breathe Let everything I say and do Be founded by my faith in You I lift up holy hands and sing Let the praises ring!
Oh Lord my God to You I give my hands Oh Lord my God to You I give my feet Oh Lord my God to You I give my everything Oh Lord my God to You I give my life
