Four Coming At You

1/14/11 – 10:50 AM

The floor sweeper stirred up some dust off of which
the low sun shines 4 beams of warm-colored light toward just below the camera.

2D can’t quite capture the 3D-seen effect,
but it’s still cool.

Significant tone tweaking was done digitally.

  1. I appreciate your efforts in exposing the various translations of the Bible as corrupt. But, please remember that the King James Version has also been corrupted! Go back to the Council of Nicea and Trent- A Catholic version of water Baptism. Acts 2:38 before it’s too late!! Jesus is soon to come back for HIS church without spot or blemish or any such thing.
    ARE YOU READY??????????????????

For those of you unfamiliar with where I stand on translations (especially this is on my personal blog, where I haven’t discussed this), this is what I’ve posted so far:

What is HORRIBLY WRONG with Modern Bible Translations like the NIV? Most modern versions slavishly depend on the Egyptian and Vatican corruptions of the New Testament!

Westcott and Hort Magic Marker Binge! Would you take a magic marker to your Bible and cross out words from passages? Do you read the NIV?

NIV alterations that greatly affect Christian doctrine — including my pet peeves. The NIV is destroying the church! Here’s proof.

Is Murdoch’s NIV the ‘N’ew ‘I’lluminati ‘V’ersion? Has the Word of God Been Corrupted to Bring US Into the New World Order?

In these, I show that I’m not a King-James-only adherent. But I believe the Greek text that the KJV and some of the modern translations (like the NKJV and WEB) is nearly a perfect text. Whereas the Greek text that the NIV and many of the other modern translations are based upon is horribly corrupted, and is a major reason the church is getting jacked. The NIV of the other perVersions (I’m not exaggerating) are completely changing doctrine in many ways!

So Marilynn, in your opinion, how is Acts 2:38 supposed to read, and in which Bible is it translated correctly, according to the way you see it? What is the basis for your argument?

      Jeff
