This clip is taken from the episode called “A Dream Within a Dream” from series 2. Starring David Carradine and John Drew Barrymore. Sadly, due to addiction, Barrymore’s acting career was to come to an end just 2 years after this scene. Terrible waste of talent. He died from cancer in 2003.

KCC: Am I then to do nothing, feel nothing, be still?

Kan: Still water is like glass. It is the perfect level. A carpenter can use it. The heart of a wise man is tranquil and still. Thus, it’s the mirror of heaven and earth. The glass of everything. Be like still water. You look into it, and see yourself.

Anger is the deadliest disease. It attacks the host and causes the host to attack and infect others. It can consume one in an instant and it can burn slowly and pass from one to another for lifetime after lifetime.

May all those afflicted with anger find peace and tranquility.
