Almost no one, including most pastors have studied what the Bible REALLY says about salvation: who goes to heaven, who are God’s children — what the Bible REALLY says.

“Once saved always saved,” “only believe” and “it’s hard to lose one’s salvation is refuted by about 90 New Testament verses that pastors never preach. They may read them, but will never preach them, deceiving many; keeping the kingdom of God from happening that the world will know (Jesus’ prayer in John 17).

Paul said the fact checking Bereans were more noble because they fact checked Paul:

“Now these [the BEREANS] were MORE NOBLE than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word [from Paul and Silas] with all readiness of the mind, EXAMINING THE SCRIPTURES DAILY TO SEE WHETHER THESE THINGS WERE SO.” – Acts 17:11

“He who believes in Me has everlasting life” (John 6:47).  “Whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).  “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31).

Believing on Jesus is a central and critical doctrine of the Bible—essential to a relationship with Him….

But, what does it mean to believe in Jesus? ..is it merely talking about a heartfelt, mental assent…?

Scripture often uses the words “believe” and “obey” interchangeably, emphasizing God’s view of faith as an obedient faith.  Highlight John 3:36 in your Bible.  “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (NASB).  Note carefully that “eternal life” is for one who “believes” but “not” for one who does not “obey.”  The words, in God’s dictionary, mean the same thing.  In your margin next to John 3:36, write Hebrews 3:18-19.  “And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient? So we see that they were not able to enter because of unbelief.”  Again, the words are synonymous.

In the margin next to John 3:16, you might write these two references above, and add Hebrews 5:9.  John 3:16 says, “Whoever believes…should…have everlasting life.”  Hebrews 5:9 teaches, “He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.”  Eternal salvation is for those who have an obedient faith.  Believing, as God defines it, includes obeying.

My comment:

The main problem is unrepentant lust of the heart, which Jesus said in Matthew 5 will send us to hell, so we have to do whatever we need to in order to not lust in our heart. Committing an act with a person is a next, deeper step. Lusting in the heart allows demons to drive lust.

Pastors teach “once saved always saved” and “only believe” instead of teaching what the Bible really says about needing to abide in Christ to have no condemnation, which we have if we walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. These are the sons of God, Paul then continues to say in Romans 8.

Look at Paul’s two lists in Galatians 5. Most “Christians” are in the “will not inherit the kingdom” list, and many don’t even care about what Romans 8, Galatians 5 and almost 90 New Testament verses actually say about who goes to heaven. They’re that lust addicted.

Paul says an overseer MUST be “HOLY” in Titus 1, which means purity of the heart, not just externally pure actions. Then we have the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5, after which Paul says “Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” Most pastors and born-again “Christians” today are backslidden by choice, not in Paul’s “those who belong to Christ” list.

Paul soon after says: “Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.”

It starts in the heart. Church leaders MUST be “HOLY” in their hearts to be able to lead others into real Christianity: Ephesians 4:11-16.

Paul: “For The TIME WILL COME when THEY WILL NOT LISTEN to the SOUND DOCTRINE, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves TEACHERS AFTER THEIR OWN LUSTS; and will TURN AWAY THEIR EARS FROM THE TRUTH, and turn aside to *FABLES*” (2 Tim. 4:3-4)

John MacArthur also teaches the serious false doctrine of “once saved always saved.” He’s a major false teacher leading many astray, including many pastors.

This passage in Hebrews 6 is probably directly related. The Hebrews were facing martyrdom, which they could escape if they publicly renounced Christ. The writer to Hebrews plainly says this is unpardonable.

Hebrews 6:4 For concerning those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify the Son of God for themselves again, and put him to open shame.

Revelation 14:

9 Another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead, or on his hand, 10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 The smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. They have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.

We need to be ready to lose our heads. Taking the Mark is NOT an option!

John MacArthur & Phil Johnson teach that by taking the Mark of the Beast you can still repent and go to heaven. The reasoning behind this is it is not an unforgivable sin. I reject this theory 100% because the bible teaches us that once you take the Mark of the beast you are sealed with the seal of satan and you will never repent.

Why is only Christ and Christianity mocked — no other religions and their gods?

It’s the Talmudic, antichrist revolutionary spirit mentioned in Romans 11 — “enemies of the gospel,” “a partial hardening… until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.” The Talmudic goal is to destroy Christian civilization so they can rule over all Gentiles when their “messiah” is seated on his throne in the temple in Jerusalem (2 Thess. 2:1-12). No one will be able to buy or sell unless they take the mark of the beast. Many of the faithful will lose their heads.

Paul in Romans 11:

PROGRESS: Michael here calls himself “Michael Brown” instead of “Dr. Michael Brown,” what Jesus said not to do (Mt. 23:1-12). Michael has been a serial offender and a bad example. “Knowledge puffs up….”

NO PROGRESS & DISINFO: Michael can’t explain why God isn’t moving powerfully in our churches today, which to me, has been obvious for decades — lack of holiness. Derek Prince Spiritual or Soulish Worship in the church today. Derek Prince sermon states that one of the essential things for spiritual success is to be able to discern between the soulish and the spiritual. Derek Prince believes the church in modern times cannot discern the difference. Soulish worship appeals to the emotions, and its sounds very good, and it will stir you up emotionally but it doesn’t do within you you what needs to be done. So soulish Christians are very easily deceived. Derek Prince has 50 years worth of ministry experience and know what it looks like to put on an act. It will get people crying, giving and excited but it doesn’t really change people. This is the difference between spiritual and soulish Christianity.

My comment:

Totally true! Many “churches” today even crank the music to almost rock concert levels so people think something significant is happening; though, it’s all flesh, NOT the Holy Spirit. And most can’t tell that the service is spiritually dead, including pastors.

Many of the worship leaders are more interested in being seen than actually worshiping God. Most cannot worship in Spirit and in truth because they’re lust addicted, etc., walking in the flesh instead of in the Spirit.

Those who can see, who have the gift of discernment of spirits, if they tell what’s really going on, pastors reprimand them, and never apologize so they’re right with God and men, like Paul always made sure he was (Acts 24:16). They’re in BIG trouble with God!

It’s a show.

Not even one church in the US has a reputation for being alive today, let alone is alive. We’re not even at church-of-Sardis level!:
